We are excited to invite your workplace to participate in the “A City of Talents” program, designed to accelerate your diversity and inclusion efforts. This initiative is offered at no cost and equips your organization with the tools and support needed to create a more inclusive and diverse workplace. The program focuses on the recruitment, retention and wellbeing, and talent development of ethnic minorities in entry-level roles, including internships, student jobs, and junior positions.The program is hosted by Foreningen Lige Adgang and ReSearch Humanity.

Who Can Join?

We are offering 35 workplaces in Copenhagen the chance to participate in a free knowledge seminar and customized development workshop in 2025 and 2026. Both public and private workplaces with a minimum of five employees are eligible. Participants will also have access to a network of practitioners for continuous support and knowledge sharing.

Program Components

Full Day Knowledge Seminar

Participants will gain a fundamental understanding of:

  • The importance of diversity and inclusion for economic success.
  • Handling unconscious biases and structural barriers in recruitment.
  • Ensuring transparency in career development criteria.
  • Preventing diversity washing and understanding ethnic minority wellbeing in the workplace.

The knowledge seminars are facilitated by Muneeza Rosendahl, CEO of Foreningen Lige Adgang.

Full Day Development Workshop

Workshops are tailored to each company, focusing on one of three themes:

  1. Recruitment: Preventing bias in recruitment processes.
  2. Career Development: Creating transparent and bias-aware talent development processes.
  3. Retention and wellbeing: Strengthening employee well-being and inclusion, including preventing ethnic minority stress.
Each workshop includes:
  • An initial exploratory interview to understand your company’s needs.
  • Co-creation of solutions to improve recruitment, career development, or retention processes.
  • Development of a project framework and action plan for implementing initiatives.

The development workshops are facilitated by Karoline Barkvoll Holstad, CEO of ReSearch Humanity and Emma Klöcker-Gatzwiller, project manager from Foreningen Lige Adgang.

Commitment and Follow-Up

Participating companies will commit to:

  • Providing at least five participants for the workshops.
  • Including a decision-maker among the participants.
  • Participating in an evaluation six months after the workshop.
  • Following up on initiatives addressed in the workshop.

Networking and Ongoing Support

Participants will be invited to online network meetings every three months, facilitated by Muneeza Rosendahl, CEO of Foreningen Lige Adgang and Karoline Barkvoll Holstad, CEO of ReSearch Humanity, to:

  • Receive advice on challenges.
  • Gain inspiration from other organizations.
  • Strengthen your network with peers.

  • Guides on various interviews, collective efforts against ethnic discrimination, and transparency in career development.
  • Checklists for practical implementation of diversity and inclusion strategies.
  • Knowledge podcasts featuring expert insights on recruiting, retaining, and developing a diverse talent pipeline.
